Turner Latin America has strengthened its position as Latin America’s most-watched pay-TV broadcaster, mostly due to the performance of Cartoon Network and TNT.

FOX Networks was the second pay-TV group in terms of share (17.9%), followed by Discovery (15.8%), Disney (14.8%) and NBC Universal (5.9%).
“The company owns three of the ten most watched pay-TV brands in the region: Cartoon Network, TNT and Space. Besides, three more enter the top-15: TNT Series, Warner and Boomerang,” the company explained through a release.
Children-focused channel Cartoon Network continued leading Latin America’s pay-TV audiences, while TNT took the ranking’s second position.
“The comprehensive, continuously-updated content portfolio, as well as brands’ performance, have positioned Turner as the most-appealing group in the advertising market,” has claimed the company. “The company’s reach across different targets, the regional and local coverage, as well as the audience segmentation possibilities prove it.”
