Rooftop Immersive Studio has reached an agreement with AMC Networks International Southern Europe to aggregate and distribute the broadcaster’s VR content.

This deal, which is the first step towards consolidating the partnership between the Dutch company and the Madrid-based AMC unit, will see Rooftop to aggregate VR content on a monthly basis from a wide pallet of genres with a focus on documentaries and factual VR experiences for Odisea.
The Amsterdam-based international distribution and production group recently announced that it had undergone a major rebrand and launched two new subsidiaries, Rooftop Film & TV and Rooftop Immersive Studio.
“AMC Networks International Southern Europe is one of the most renowned and respected broadcasters of original programming and we are delighted to be partnering with them to offer VR to a wider audience. As VR becomes an increasingly important part of our business, this deal represents a new step in the company’s growth,” said Jordi Van Even, founder, Rooftop Content Group.
