TVU Networks is to provide rental packages and on-the-ground technical support throughout the World Cup in all 12 Russian cities that will be hosting games.

tvu football 24 may 2018From its regional European base in Barcelona, the provider of live IP video solutions is to deploy over 150 pieces of TVU Networks equipment and local SIM Cards across Russia, lined up to enable broadcasters to successfully deliver matches and news to consumers across the globe.

Solutions hired will include the TVU One, which transmits signals over 3G, 4G/LTE wireless portable and fixed video transmitters, which incorporates TVU’s proprietary technology Inverse StatMux Plus.

“TVU Networks has the solutions required for live video broadcasting of high profile national and global events from sports tournaments through to coronations, natural disasters and elections,” said Paul Shen, CEO of TVU Networks. “We are constantly looking for ways to help our customers reduce their video production costs while allowing them to deliver the best live shots regardless of the transmission environment.”

TVU Networks staff will travel to each of the 12 venues in Russia to deliver, set up and test the equipment.
