Dish TV is adding 30 Tamil channels to its Indian direct-to-home (DTH) platform for its customers in Tamil Nadu.

"Understanding customer requirements and driving high engagement through our offerings has always been our focus. With the addition of around 30 most popular Tamil channels we aim to add a new dimension in our products and services and hope our customers will enjoy the fabulous content," said Sukhpreet Singh, senior vice president of marketing, Dish TV.
"At Dish TV, we will continue to work towards customer-centric offerings to drive the highest levels of satisfaction and entertainment," he added.
Last month Dish TV completed its long awaited merger with Videocon d2h, creating the second largest direct-to-home (DTH) operator in the world with a subscriber base of around 28 million.
More high definition (HD) channels are also on the cards for the platform, which boasts over 4000 distributors and around 400,000 dealers across India.
