Telefónica’s pay-TV platform, Movistar+, is now supported on Amazon’s Fire TV Stick devices.
Following the release, users will have access to Movistar+’s complete linear offering and video-on-demand (VOD) catalogue, as well as the Estoy viendo (currently watching) and Para mí (recommendations) features.The Fire TV Stick platform works like the rest of the Movistar+ smart TV apps, available for some Samsung, LG and Sony models.
“The user experience for Fire TV Stick users is similar to any smart TV, viewers will just have to browse the menus with the Fire TV Stick remote,” said the pay-TV operator.
The app is already available to download on Amazon Appstore’s marketplace.
