Marking the arrival of the 44th node in the company's network, and the first in South America, content delivery network (CDN) services provider G-Core Labs has launched a new point of presence in São Paulo.

G Core 15March2018The G-Core Labs service offer is dashboard-based and designed to deliver heavy content transmission and broadcast live video. Its features include HTTP/2 for faster delivery, IPv6, GZip compression for faster data accessibility, real-time reporting, free or custom SSL, DDoS Protection and origin shield.

Commenting on the launch, which opens up its services to a population of 422.5 million people, G-Core Labs VP of products, Dmitry Samoshkin, said: "South America is a promising market for G-Core Labs customers. Opening the PoP in São Paulo is an important and long-awaited step in the development strategy for company's products and network. Worldwide benchmarks confirm an excellent performance of the new node, outstripping global CDN market leaders.
