National Basketball Association (NBA) games are being broadcast live in Indian prime time for the first time, with a match scheduled each Sunday evening until 8 April.

NBA logo 12 March 2018Sony Six, Sony Six HD, Sony Ten 3 and Sony Ten 3 will all programme an NBA game live at 10pm India Standard Time, featuring some of the league’s biggest stars, including the Cleveland Cavaliers’ LeBron James, the Oklahoma City Thunder’s Russell Westbrook and the Philadelphia 76ers’ Joel Embiid.

As well as the live matches, NBA Around the Hoop, a localised studio show hosted by a panel of Indian basketball experts, will air around the live games. NBA and Sony Six will also hold a series of pregame activities, fan events and viewing parties across Mumbai and Delhi.
