As it rolls out a new all-IP service in its domestic environment, Netherlands cableco Delta has turned to security technology provider Irdeto so that it can securely deliver premium pay-TV content to its subscribers through DVB and IP channels.

Delta 8Mar2018Delta will be one of the first cable operators to offer an all IP set-top box service in The Netherlands. In order to provide the secure IPTV service, Irdeto has partnered with Amino Technologies which is providing Delta with an end-to-end solution to deliver multiscreen entertainment services.

"We have a long-standing relationship with Irdeto and were impressed with the openness and level of expertise provided. Irdeto Cloaked CA will help us provide secure and future-proofed IP and digital services to our customers."
