Orange Spain has reached an agreement with 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment to add over 100 blockbusters to its video-on-demand (VOD) catalogue.

fox orange 06 mar 2018Under the terms of the deal, complete sagas like Planet of the Apes, Alien, Ice Age and X-Men will be added to Orange’s VOD service.

Some of the production house’s latest premiers, like Ferdinand, The greatest showman and Murder on the Orient Express will gradually join the catalogue.

The agreement, which doesn’t include any 4K titles, follows other similar deals between Orange and US majors including Sony Pictures Television, Warner Bros Pictures, Universal Studios, Paramount Pictures and Walt Disney Pictures.

Through this partnership, Orange reinforces its pay-TV service in Spain, where the French telco has its second largest market and one of the fastest-growing business operations worldwide.
