Leading UK-based esports company Gfinity has selected independent sport, TV and film production company Noah Media to be its exclusive production partner.

gfinity 5March2018Founded in 2012, London-based Gfinity has established itself as a leading esports company, enjoying relationships with game publishers, players and the wider esports community. It offers competitions, both on-line at and off-line, in addition to producing esports broadcasts.

The new production partnership confirms Noah Media Group as the sole producer of the next two seasons of the Gfinity Elite Series - the professional esports tournament where some of the world's best professional teams compete for their share of the £250,000 prize pool in front of a live audience at the Gfinity Esports Arena in west London. Noah Media Group will also work alongside Gfinity across a range of new productions including live events and magazine formats.

The Gfinity Elite Series season three launches on 9 March, and this year the tournament has increased to ten teams featuring Fnatic, Envy, Vitality, and newcomers Hashtag United and UNILAD. For the first time, FIFA 18, one of the world's biggest selling console franchises, will be included alongside returning favourites Rocket League and Street Fighter V. The Elite Series is streamed via Twitch and Facebook and has previously aired on BT Sport and Eleven Sports, receiving a total of nine million views for season two.

Commenting on the deal, Noah Media Group CEO John McKenna said: "Having been the first-choice producer for the Gfinity Elite Series since its launch in 2017, we're thrilled to cement our working relationship through this exclusive partnership. At Noah we pride ourselves on our track record of excellence, creativity and innovation in production. Working so closely with Gfinity will enable us to bring that to one of the fastest growing areas in sport and help develop next-level esport content that will excite this loyal and enthusiastic fan base."

Added Gfinity global head of production Amanda Lawson: "We are really excited to be launching season three of the Elite Series ... The quality of every single show is of paramount importance, as is the creativity and the dynamism of our story-telling both in the live shows and in all our ancillary content."
