Subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) service iflix has boosted its non-fiction and lifestyle content in Asia with the addition of a raft of titles from Discovery Networks.

iflix 12 February 2018The streaming deal includes documentaries, lifestyle shows and natural history titles from Discovery Channel, TLC and Animal Planet.

The Discovery Channel documentaries now offered to subscribers include Ed Stafford: Left For Dead, Coopers Treasure, Naked And Afraid, Man Made Marvels Asia, Idris Elba: Fighter, Hacking the Wild and Deadliest Catch.

Included in the on-demand are TLC titles Playhouse Masters, Beach Life With Angela Kan, The Kings, 90 Day Fiance, Love at First Swipe, 2 Dudes & A Kitchen, Stay Home Chef, United States of Bacon and Hair Goddess. Also available for iflix viewers are Animal Planet shows Monsters Inside Me, African Wild, Meet the Penguins, Dogs: The Untold Story and Wildest Islands of Indonesia.

The Discovery digital offer also includes local productions and localised programmes for an Asian audience – ranging from wild fishing in Thailand to dude food preparation, and chicken beauty pageants in Indonesia, to regional conservation issues.
