Mediaset has launched a development unit to boost creation of digital content for online platforms and TV.
The unit will integrate the departments of native digital content, headed by Ana Bueno, and digital TV content, for which the company has appointed David Sanz as new director.
According to Mediaset, the native digital department will develop content not related to the group’s free-to-air (FTA) channels, whereas the department headed by Sanz will focus on digital formats for the linear networks.
Both Bueno and Sanz will report to Manuel Villanueva, general manager of content at Mediaset.
Daviz Sanz has joined the broadcaster from Movistar+, for which he worked as manager of original digital production and consultant for eSports and gaming.
Ana Bueno has been working at Mediaset for the last 11 years, being responsible for several products related to the group’s digital and online properties.
