Armoza TheFour 9Feb2018Following what it says was a successful first season Armoza Formats' prime time singing competition series The Final Four has been snapped up by FOX for another run in the US.

The renewal announcement was made before the Season One finale and the season new prime-time show is set to air again on the broadcast network in summer 2018.

The show is said to be FOX's highest-rated new unscripted series in nearly four years both among adults 18-49 and total viewers. Armoza says that the penultimate episode of the current run posted the format's highest ratings yet among A18-49 and total viewers, establishing what is claimed to be a new season high and marking a third week of consecutive growth among adults 18-49 and total viewers.

Furthermore, Armoza noted that throughout the season, The Four was the leading trending topic on Twitter during its days of airing, with, according to Nielsen's social content ratings, the highest current social media interaction on US television.

The Final Four was developed by the Armoza Formats  in-house development department with company founder and CEO Avi Armoza serving as one of the executive producers. Commenting on the re-commission he said: "The last few months have been an amazing journey as we brought a new prime time music show to air and which has developed into one of the most unexpected shows on television. We couldn't have done so without such strong creative partners like FOX, Sean 'Diddy' Combs, DJ Khaled, Meghan Trainor, Fergie and ITV. We are thrilled to continue this partnership and can't wait to see what the second season will bring."

Added Rob Wade, president of alternative series and specials at FOX Broadcasting Company, "The Four' is truly a next-generation show. It has pushed past the boundaries of traditional music competition series by focusing on recording artists in an epic battle to become a superstar. And for the winner, guided by music giants Sean 'Diddy' Combs, DJ Khaled, Meghan Trainor, and Republic Records, this is just the beginning. We'd like to thank our panel, our ringleader, Fergie, the contestants and our incredible production team for delivering concert-quality shows every week. And we look forward to pushing the boundaries even further in Season Two."
