Integrated IP hybrid devices and IP video solutions provider for the cable industry, Evolution Digital, has launched what it calls a fully-managed all-IP streaming box that combines linear cable channels and video-on-demand (VOD) services with streaming apps.
Available through the Google Play Store, the eSTREAM 4K, powered by Android TV, device is said to deliver a new entertainment experience with a remote control including voice search and command support. It also supports 4K/Ultra HD content. eSTREAM 4K also provides whole-home video distribution through its integrated 802.11b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi client with 4x4 antenna configuration.
