The unstoppable online video content force is meeting the rapidly growing online video device as Roku has announced the availability of YouTube TV on select number of its devices.

Roku YouTube 2Feb2018For $35/month following a free trial, Roku users in the US will get access to live TV on YouTube TV from nearly 50 networks including ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, CW, Disney Channel, ESPN, FX, Telemundo. Sports and premium networks like SHOWTIME, Shudder, Sundance Now and Fox Soccer Plus are also available for an additional monthly charge.

Features available with the combination include cloud DVR with no storage limits; a library tab that includes access to recorded shows; a home tab with personalised recommendations, including top picks and resume watching; background playback experience so you users can still see video while browsing the app; a live tab with a full programme guide; and the ability to share with up to five other members of a household.
