Grupo Salinas has named Patricia Jasin as new vice president for Azteca Internacional.

patricia azteca 11 january 2018Through the appointment, the Mexican company aims to strengthen international content and networks distribution, particularly in the US Hispanic market, after Salinas’ subsidiary Azteca America was acquired by the holding company HC2 Network.

Jasin will report to Alberto Ciurana, chief content and distribution office, TV Azteca, who will assist her to introduce the company’s content into new markets across the Americas.

According to TV Azteca’s latest financial report, international sales are on the up, but still represent a small share of the business compared to the company’s strong position in the Mexican market.

The Argentinean executive, now based in Miami, has 20 years of experience within the TV industry, having worked for Frecuencia Latina and launched her own company, Fly Content, of which she will remain CEO.

“The arrival of Patricia Jasin is part of TV Azteca’s new strategy to become a magnet for talented people,” stated Grupo Salinas.
