Although flexible flat panel displays have existed since the late 90s, to date their mass adoption has been curtailed by their manufacturing costs, however LG Display has taken the concept to a new level.

Further flying the flag for OLEDs, LG Display has also introduced displays built on the technology which sees use in various aspects of everyday life. In addition to the rollable screen, there is also an 88" 8K OLED display, also said to be a world’s first, and LG Display has upgraded the audio complexity of its Crystal Sound OLED displays from the current 2.1 channel sound to 3.1 channel sound. The company is also offering a 55" transparent display and a 77" wallpaper OLED TV display.
“LG Display is all about innovative products that provide new value to customers,” said Sang-Beom Han, vice chairman and CEO of LG Display. “We will firmly establish our position as a leading company by responding to market expectations and providing differentiated value in the rapidly expanding OLED market as well as the existing LCD market.”
