Middle East subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) service Starz Play is working with LG to embed its streaming app into the South Korean company’s smart TVs.

STARZ PLAY Service Now Available on LG Smart TVs ENSelect LG models across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) now offer the app, providing Starz Play Hollywood, Bollywood and Arabic content to subscribers directly via their TV screens.

“Our partnership with LG confirms our ongoing efforts to continually increase our customers’ satisfaction. With smart TVs being one of our viewers’ favorite streaming devices, our collaboration with such a leading brand brings us closer to our customers and helps us simplify their viewing experience,” said Danny Bates, CCO and co-founder of Starz Play.

Starz Play offers 10,000 hours of content on demand, including complete seasons of popular TV series such as Friends, House and Lost. Additionally, recent series such as Vikings, Knightfall, Power and Taboo, are offered at the same time as they air in the US.
