Star TV’s digital streaming platform Hotstar is adding content for its Gen Z audience, following a tie-up with media company Awesomeness.

Hotstar logo 6 Sept 2017Series included in the deal include horror show Freakish, thriller T@gged and love story Confess. All will be available to subscribers of Hotstar’s premium on-demand content in India and around the world.

Freakish revolves around a group of students trapped inside a high school who must fight for survival when mutant freaks take over after a meltdown at the local chemical plant. T@gged is a modern day thriller that explores the terrifying risks of social media in a world of anonymity. Hotstar Premium is now streaming seasons one and two of each show, with the third season of T@gged scheduled for 2018.

Based on the novel from author Colleen Hoover, Confess is a modern love story about the secrets we keep to protect the ones we love. The first season is available for Hotstar viewers.
