Content provider TLC is prepping a multi-platform endeavour with celebrity bridal designer Hayley Paige.

paige 20 dec 20171As the home of weddings on TV, TLC is taking the genre across all screens with the debut of Hayley Ever After, a five-episode series available on Facebook Watch. The franchise also will extend beyond Facebook with a one-hour special on TLC, entitled Hayley Ever After: The Dress.

“TLC has a long been a leader in the wedding genre on linear television. Producing for Facebook allows us to expand our expertise and experiment with a digital-first content strategy,” said Scott Lewers, SVP, multi-platform programming and digital content, TLC. “Our production partners INE Entertainment have been great in creating a new multi-platform production model. We are thrilled to welcome Hayley Paige to the TLC family.”

The linear tie-in, slated for 13 Jan, will follow Paige as she takes on The Bachelorette’s Kaitlyn Bristowe’s wedding dress. A design challenge is born when Paige’s interns compete amongst one another to impress the celebrity with their innovative styles.

“Discovery is committed to creating and nurturing a community of super-fans through video across all screens. Earlier this year, we announced we would be creating content for the Watch platform,” said Fred Graver, SVP, original content and social, Discovery. “I am very proud of the series we’ve published so far...and we are excited to see how fans engage with our latest launch.”
