Regional US pay-TV provider WideOpenWest (WOW!) has appointed Teresa Elder as CEO and a member of its board of directors.

Elder 18 dec 2017Elder succeeds Steven Cochran, who is retiring from WOW! after 15 years with the company. Cochran will stay on in an advisory role through 30 June 2018, to help with the transition of leadership.

Elder comes to WOW with more than 20 years of executive leadership. She served as a founding president of Clearwire Wholesale (which was sold to Sprint), and prior to that as CEO of Vodafone Ireland and president of AT&T Broadband West (now part of Comcast). Elder also serves on a number of boards and is chair of the management board of the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
