Cisneros will join the company’s CEO, Wared Seger, and board director Bruce Tuchman for a special presentation on audience measurement demand in the Latin American market at NATPE Miami on 16 January.
“Over the past year or so, it has become abundantly clear to me that our conventional ways of measuring the popularity of content are vastly outdated and deficient. I made some sweeping changes within my own company to change our processes and, in so doing, became fascinated with big data analytics,” said Cisneros. “Parrot Analytics’ global demand measurement system is at the forefront of a widespread shift in our industry to more accurately gauge demand for content.”
“Adriana is one of the most knowledgeable executives in our industry, in particular the Latin American media market and Latin market in the US,” added Seger. “She will be instrumental in helping us better address the needs of broadcasters, producers and OTT platforms throughout the region, as well as provide us with far-reaching access to media companies who can greatly benefit from our demand measurement system.”
Cisneros is a family-owned and operated business with a global footprint and operations in Latin America and the United States. The company’s media division, Cisneros Media, manages Venevision, Venezuela’s leading TV network and a growing pay-TV signal among US Hispanics, as well as a variety of cable channels with 25 million subscribers in Latin America and the US.
