LaLiga has kicked off the bidding process for the European broadcasting rights for the coming seasons of the Spanish football competition.

laliga celta barca 06 december 2017The process is open for Western and Eastern Europe as well as the Nordics (see the full list of territories here), including France, Germany, the UK, Turkey and the Netherlands. The bid doesn’t cover Italy, where the competition has an ongoing agreement with FOX Sports.

The bid aims to award TV rights for the 2018/2019, 2019/2020 and 2020/2021 seasons, covering the LaLiga’s first division and play-off matches for promotion.

According to LaLiga, bids may be submitted until 15 January 2018 under the terms and conditions set out on LaLiga’s website.
