Following its unveiling at MIPCOM 2017, Insight TV is to hit the transmit button at 21:00 on its reality show Thru for its core linear platform and the Insight.TV online TV channel.

THRU 1Dec2017The eight-part series will see teams of intrepid competitors’ trek through highly challenging terrain following a straight line from point-A-to-point-B. As the teams’ race from opposite directions they face difficult obstacles and physical challenges by trekking directly over, under, and through buildings, drop-offs, swamps and pools. The team that takes all obstacles and deviates least from the Thru route, wins.

“Our programmes are famous for pushing competitors to their absolute limit,” explained ArunMaljaars, Insight TV’s global content strategy manager. “This show is no different. We’ve selected international social influencers as competitors for Thru, who will need to show huge physical and mental strength, facing their inner fears as they meet frightening obstacles to reach the finish line. The team that works best together with the least mistakes will be crowned the winners of Thru.”
