1980s and 90s UK pop sensations Bananarama and Steps have revealed that their respective come-back tours have been captured in their full glory using fly-away, multi-camera solution from Trickbox TV.

TRickbox 1Dec2017Shot by concert films and music documentaries specialists Toward Infinity, the Trickbox TV technology was used to record the gigs for Blu-ray and DVD sale. Toward Infinity supplied Trickbox with camera plans and Trickbox then managed the installation including the production design, providing the technical equipment to record the shows as well as the crew to rig and de-rig it plus vision engineers and unit managers.

“Rigging and de-rigging takes place on the day of the show,” explained Toward Infinity producer, director and editor, Tim Sidwell. “That’s really advantageous to us as it keeps costs down. Trickbox can rig a multi-camera shoot in the morning, get it ready for the show and then break it down and get it out of the venue by the end of the night.”

Added Trickbox TV managing director Liam Laminman, adds, “We ‘ve worked with Toward Infinity for a couple of years providing a fly-away, multi-camera unit for major concerts across the UK. Bananarama and Steps are huge acts that have a nostalgic place in the hearts of fans all over the world and we hope they can relive the pop magic when the Blu-rays and DVDs are released.”
