HEVC, H.264, and MPEG-2 video compression solutions specialist ATEME has announced a technological partnership with Interra Systems, a provider of quality control (QC), monitoring and analysis solutions to the digital media industry.

ATEMELogo 30Nov2017The partnership aims to offer the firms’ mutual customers an efficient and cost-effective solution for delivering what they say will be superior quality video experiences on multiple devices across broadcast, cable, DTH, IPTV, and over-the-top (OTT) environments.

“We have been using Interra Systems’ Baton QC and Orion monitoring platforms in our R&D test environment for a long time to monitor file-based workflow transcoding as well as check real-time content integrity,” commented ATEME R&D manager for methods tools and tests, François Le Crom. “Overall, Interra Systems provides a comprehensive QC, monitoring, and reporting tool that is a perfect match for our compression solutions.
