Keshet International and Sr. Mono are developing a Spanish-language thriller called Alone with former RTVE writer Curro Royo.

atar dekel 28 november 2017Alone tells the story of the country’s most prestigious lawyer who takes on a case of a woman who is charged with murdering her lover, his wife and their eight-year-old child.

The new Keshet format is being developed in collaboration with Royo, a seasoned film and television writer with over 20 years’ experience. He wrote on TVE’s Cuéntame Cómo Pasó, the longest-running drama in the country, and his feature films include El Club de Los Suicidas (2007) and El Arte de Morir (2000).

For this project, announced by Atar Dekel, global head of co-productions at Keshet International, the Israeli company will work together with Sr. Mono Producciones, a recently created production company founded by the Spanish EP and director Cesar Rodriguez Blanco along with factual and entertainment creators Javier Pérez de Silva (Stand Up For Your Country, Gypsy Kings) and Joaquín Zamora (Survivor, Super Shore).
