US-based video-on-demand (VOD) and over-the-top (OTT) service XUMO plans to feature new channels beginning in December 2017.

vidaprimo 23 november 2017VidaPrimo will offer best videos in Latin urban music and reggaetón, including the most important artists, the hottest interviews, the latest in concerts and awards. The Above Average comedy channel meanwhile is a studio and digital publisher connecting people to stories through the lens of comedy. Born from Lorne Michaels’ Broadway Video in 2012, it’s a digital-first company with a TV and film legacy of over 40 years.

Toon Goggles offers premium kids’ content, including fun and educational cartoons and live-action shows. XUMO is also debuting USA Today Sports’ Channels: SportsWire – live, fresh and smart sports takes; and MMA Junkie – UFC and MMA news, rumours, live blogs and videos.

XUMO will also air content dedicated to celebrating the spirit of the season, such as Santa tracking from CBS News, holiday gift guides from CNET, holiday pet videos from The Pet Collective, holiday recipes from Tastemade and Epicurious, and live concerts every Wednesday night from Austin Music Live.
