"We want our programming to reach fashion lovers worldwide, and are excited for this next step with Vewd."
Meanwhile, as part of its 20th anniversary celebrations, Canal Futura, one of the largest educational and public interest broadcasters in Brazil, also added its TV app to the Vewd App Store. More than 50 million people regularly tune in to Futura’s programming.
“Futura is delighted to bring the world’s best educational and cultural content to the Vewd App Store,” said José Brito Cunha, broadcast manager at Canal Futura. “We are unique in that we are a non-profit, non-commercial broadcaster. Canal Futura is a result of the partnership between private sector organisations, united by the commitment to invest socially and becocme leaders in their segments. Our mission is to ensure our inclusive, participatory content reaches as many people as possible to support the development of Brazilian society. Partnering with Vewd to ensure that content is available across the broadest portfolio of connected TV devices is essential to fulfilling this mission.”
