The European video-on-demand (VOD) service Rakuten TV has launched a 4K HDR service for Samsung smart TVs.


rakuten tv baby driver 11 november 2017 1Expanding the ongoing partnership signed at MIPTV last April, Rakuten TV will release 100 Ultra HD HDR titles before the end of the year.

Throughout Europe, the content, also with Dolby Digital Plus sound, will be only available through Samsung’s TV Plus service for TIZEN Smart TVs.

According to Rakuten TV (formerly Wuaki.tv), titles like Transformers: The Last Knight, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Baby Driver and Baywatch are already available in 4K HDR quality.
