Norway’s RiksTV has selected Eurofins Digital Testing to automate monitoring of service availability for the provider’s digital TV and HDTV services.

eurofins 8Nov2017RiksTV, Norway's only TV distributor to provide digital TV and antenna-based HDTV, offers a range of TV and entertainment services for people across Norway, with more than 50 TV channels that are also available on tablets and mobile, radio and music services, weekly archives, film rentals, streaming services, as well as RiksTV Junior children's own entertainment. The company’s DTTV network consists of more than 450 ground-based transmitters and reaches 98% of Norwegian households and 90% of all holiday homes throughout the country.

Under the agreement, RiksTV will use Eurofins’ cloud-based TestWizard system to automate testing and provide performance monitoring for quality assurance for its DTT services. TestWizard is designed to reduce the time spent on repetitive, manual tests by providing automated tests cases for increased coverage and consistency to provide service validation, insights into the end-user experience and performance monitoring for quality assurance.
