French digital media company blackpills, which specialises in mobile-ready, shortform video content for millennials, is to launch in the UK this autumn.

The free, ad-supported service is available via iOS and Android mobile apps, and will release a new original series each week.

Following its global launch earlier this summer, blackpills has already established an acclaimed roster of acting and directing talent including Zoe Cassavetes, Bryan Singer, Patrick J. Adams, James Franco and Denise Richards.

Blackpills co-founder Patrick Holzman said: “We can’t wait to launch a brand new digital media to the UK and provide original content, which is both controversial and relevant. Millennials are addicted to short-form content and blackpills has been designed to feed this addiction; while also addressing modern-day issues and giving them something truly compelling.”
