The games will be broadcast through the league’s Twitter profile, @NBB, and will be available for computers, mobile devices, Apple TV and Microsoft Xbox One.
“Five years ago, we started streaming the games and the audience engagement was impressive. For us, it’s thrilling to have joined Twitter in an unprecedented partnership in Brazil,” added Joao Fernando Rossia, president, Liga Nacional de Basquete.
Twitter’s deal in Brazil follows other live broadcast experiences carried out in LATAM this year, including Mexico’s Master Chef final and the play-off series of Argentina’s basketball league.
