Leading content firm AMC Networks International (AMCNI) has appointed Marco Frazier to a newly created role as senior vice president, International Distribution – Digital and New Platforms.

Marco Frazier Headshot previewFrazier will oversee worldwide distribution of AMC Networks International’s linear channels with new and digital media platforms. Based in Italy, he has more than 20 years of experience in securing distribution for various media ventures. Most recently, he worked for with AMCNI on international business development and affiliate global distribution and has helped launch and develop networks throughout the EMEA region.

“Marco is an expert strategist with a successful track record of driving remarkable growth around the world for AMCNI’s portfolio of channels,” said Ed Palluth, EVP, Global Distribution, AMCNI. “His wealth of experience and passion for our globally renowned and high-quality brands will be instrumental as our rapidly expanding business continues to grow across the globe with innovative partnerships and digital media carriage.”

Prior to AMC Networks, Frazier led the ESPN EMEA affiliate sales and distribution department in building a paying subscriber base of more than 55 million paying homes across ESPN America and ESPN Classic. Previously, as VP of business development at Creative Networks International, he was pivotal in launching Cult Network Italia. Also, at Sitcom SpA he secured distribution enabling the launch of three new channels including: Nuvolari, Alice and Leonardo.
