As a part of its new digital strategy SPI International/FILMBOX has launched a branded corner called Filmbox OnDemand with Volia, Ukraine’s leading telecommunication platform.

filmbox 13oct2017Volia operates a subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) service called Volia Cinema which will feature Filmbox OnDemand as a sub-package available to all Volia’s customers who have access to Volia Cinema service. The online VOD service offers non-stop, multiscreen access to a film library featuring American and European movie hits. This includes dramas, comedies and action flicks starring some of the top Hollywood and European actors as well as localised martial arts videos and documentaries.

Among the movies available on Filmbox OnDemand are Looper, a sci-fi thriller starring Bruce Willis, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Emily Blunt; action film Set-up with 50 Cent, Ryan Phillippe, Bruce Willsi; and New York I Love You, a compilation of love stories starring Bradley Cooper, Andy Garcia, Natalie Portman and Orlando Bloom and others.

Volia already carries seven linear channels from the SPI/FILMBOX portfolio including FilmBox HD, FilmBox Arthouse, DocuBox HD, FightBox HD, Fast&FunBox HD, FashionBox HD and 360 TuneBox.
