Mexico’s pay-TV operator Megacable is to customise its TV everywhere platform Xview with solutions from ThinkAnalytics.

Besides, Megacable is tapping the ThinkBigData tool to gain valuable, granular insight into user behaviour and the value of content to drive decision-making. The pay-TV operator expects to take advantage of new revenue generating opportunities such as dynamic ad insertion through deeper user insights.
Through the use of ThinkAnalytics’ machine learning techniques to analyse subscribers’ interests and previous viewing behaviour, the tool will make it easy for Megacable’s pay-TV customers to discover new live TV and video-on-demand (VOD) content.
ThinkBigData will also allow Megacable to dig deeper into the data from the Search and Recommendations Engine and benefit from far greater insights into subscriber behaviour at the individual user level, as well as engagement with content and channels.
