After 17 years on air, Spain’s Big Brother has evolved into Gran Hermano Revolution, a similar reality show that is relying on live 360° video to engage the audience.

During the 30-minute daily shows, viewers will be able to access the live broadcasts of two 360° cameras placed inside the house. The content will only be available through the Gran Hermano Revolution app.

According to Telecinco - the Spanish free-to-air (FTA) network that has been home of the show since it started - the goal is to make viewers feel like a producer, choosing what to watch and being able to move around the house.

The 360° video initiative joins already extensive coverage, with 24/7 programming through an online feed, live streaming and video-on-demand (VOD) on the Mitele platform as well as the regular broadcasts on Telecinco.
