Spanish software provider Mirada has signed a five-year contract with Digital TV Cable in Bolivia to deploy its Iris over-the-top (OTT) solution.
Under this contract, Mirada will bring its entire suite of Iris multiscreen products, including its OTT platform and back-end application, across Digital TV Cable’s network, through which the operator delivers pay-TV and broadband services.
According to Mirada, a gradual roll-out has been planned over five years, with a target of up to one million devices.
The Iris multiscreen solution will enable Digital TV Cable’s subscribers in the city of Santa Cruz to view live, catch-up and on-demand content across IPTV/OTT set-top boxes, smartphones, tablets, smart TVs and personal computers.
“This represents the second contract win for Mirada in less than two months and demonstrates the successful conversion of Mirada’s extensive pipeline of opportunities for our powerful multiscreen product, which has been growing its number of first-class reference deployments over the last few years,” said José Luis Vázquez, CEO of Mirada.
Elio Montes, CEO of Digital TV Cable, commented: “We are certain that having Mirada on board for solutions for consumer interaction, with content and services, will make a real difference to our digital users.”
