Search and recommendation specialist ThinkAnalytics has announced record results for the financial year ending 30 June 2017, with turnover up 25% and profits up 30% year on year.

thinkanalytics 7 sept 2017Business highlights include successful launches with Astro (Astro Go and NJOI), CenturyLink, PCCW, Vodafone Kabel Deutschland and Liberty Global (now live in eight countries). New contract wins include: Megacable, Proximus, Telia, and TDC, as well as a large European telco deploying across multiple countries in multiple languages for pay TV and OTT.

The company said that up to 70 to 90% of viewing for its customers is now coming from intelligent search and content recommendations. The firm now has over 220 million subscribers under contract globally across its pay-TV and OTT customer base, and the ThinkAnalytics Recommendations Engine now serves over 80 billion recommendations a month.
