In the latest embarrassing leak of the current series of Game of Thrones, HBO España and HBO Nordic have unintentionally released the sixth episode of latest season ahead of the scheduled worldwide premiere.

got 31 july 2017HBO’s European units leaked the episode across their over-the-top (OTT) platforms, angering a huge global community of fans. According to the fortunate users that managed to watch the content, the sixth episode automatically played after the fifth scheduled one.

Through both HBO Nordic and HBO España took down the content as soon as they detected the fail, some users managed to copy the episode and illegally distributed it through pirate platforms.

Lately, HBO has had a hard time to keep Game of Thrones in secret. The fourth episode was leaked by Star India three days before the US premiere, a breach for which the operator’s ERP supplier Prime Focus Technologies has now been forced to issue a formal apology.

In addition, two weeks ago, HBO was victim of a cyber-attack, as a result of which the fourth episode of the series was also released through the Internet.

Even though HBO was been quick to solve the issue, the leak became a worldwide trending topic on Twitter and the social networks were filled with supposed spoilers.
