Kwesé TV has increased its customer reach to over 400 million after reaching distribution agreements with leading mobile network operators across Africa.

Kwese TV 9 June 2017Econet’s multi-platform broadcaster has partnered with MTN, Safaricom, Tigo and Vodacom, with other alliances to follow in different territories, according to Business Ghana.

Many of these partners are also to become official resellers of Kwesé TV’s satellite dish and set-top box, while the mobile operator’s 3G, LTE and Wi-Fi infrastructure will be utilised by Kwesé to stream its premium programming.

Kwesé TV is offering viewers sports content including as NBA, English and Brazilian football, cricket, as well as exclusive entertainment from Revolt, AMC Networks and Viceland.

The service is available in most African countries through the Kwesé app, however the partnerships offer users mobile TV with enticing data packages.
