Vodafone is giving Spanish mobile subscribers access to Formula One and Moto GP live programming on their on-the-go devices.

vodafone motor 30 may 2017Starting on 6 June, the telco’s clients will gain access to two new mobile channels through Vodafone TV’s online service, namely Vodafone TV Online Coches and Motos. Live motor sports will be available for Red M and Red L mobile clients as well as for convergent subscribers with no TV option (as such content is already available for regular pay-TV subscribers).

Formula One and Moto GP programming will join other live content which Vodafone has made available in recent years to add value to mobile subscriptions. For instance, selected La Liga content has been available to Vodafone’s mobile clients for the last three seasons.

The move follows Vodafone’s recent agreement with Movistar+ to add a motorsports package to its line-up, as the Telefónica-owned operator has exclusivity over Formula One and Moto GP TV rights in Spain.

In addition to live sports, Vodafone also offers integrated access to its own video-on-demand (VOD) service and third-party platforms, such as HBO España.
