Cable & Wireless (CWC) has acquired the cableco Marpin 2K4 in Dominica, which enables the company to launch pay-TV operation Flow across the island.
dominica 18 may 2017According to CWC’s announcement on the local media, the addition of Marpin means that Flow Dominica will soon be able to offer cable TV in addition to its mobile, fixed-line telephony and broadband services, which were already available in Dominica.

“This new development further demonstrates our commitment to Dominica, through continued investment and deliver expanded products and services to Dominicans,” said Jeffrey Baptiste, GM, Flow.

“We expect that Liberty Global’s reach, expertise and influence will enable Flow to eventually transform Marpin’s customers’ television experience via new features such as HD television, multi-platform viewing, as well as the introduction of new and exciting local, regional and international content,” he added.

Over the past three years, CWC has been increasing investments on the island, looking to improve telecom infrastructures and service. Now, Flow will integrate the nearly 12,500 Marpin TV and broadband subscribers into Flow’s pay-TV experience.
