Argentina’s Cablevisión has deployed the ContentWise personalisation system for its pay-TV platform Flow.

contentwise contenido 21 april 2017As part of its drive to provide next-generation services to its customers, Cablevisión has selected the ContentWise Personalisation machine-learning system to help anticipate users’ actions and facilitate content discovery.

Among other features, the solution enables Cablevisión to utilise personalised content discovery with context-aware algorithmic and social content recommendations, automatic micro-genres, and assisted content curation tools providing total control to editorial and marketing teams.

Providing a UX engine API that controls each user interface element across screens and apps, the solution delivers a sophisticated content discovery tool due to algorithmic and social recommendations, predictive browsing and context awareness.

“Cablevisión Argentina customers are looking to enjoy a personalised TV experience,” said Guillermo Paez, product and innovation manager, Cablevisión. “ContentWise expands our ability to deliver state-of-the-art personalised TV experiences, make our offering more attractive and learn about our subscribers’ preferences.”

“The platform (Minerva 10) beautifully integrates with our UX automation APIs to give Cablevisión Flow an intelligent UI that reacts to users’ behaviour and puts relevant content in the very first screen,” explained Paolo Bozzola, CEO of ContentWise. “Cablevisión understands that populating the screen with what’s relevant for each user leads to a shorter time-to-content, a stable frequency of return and ultimately to a higher subscriber retention.”
