The services division of leading satellite operator SES, MX1, has signed a multi-year linear distribution deal with premium content services provider Vubiquity.

MX1 2 17 JanThe new service will offer the latter’s linear transport portfolio with MX1’s service infrastructure and future-proof content aggregation management and delivery technology. These capabilities offer broadcasters, TV channels, affiliates, rights holders and content aggregators the ability to aggregate content and reach viewers in the US and worldwide through a single platform. Services will be centralised from MX1’s Media Centre in Hawley, Pennsylvania which went live in the US at the end of 2016.
