The first mixed martial arts (MMA) event to be hosted by Brave Combat Federation in India will be aired live on Neo Sports on 23 April.

NEO Mixed martial ArtsThe content deal will see Neo air the MMA action from the NSCI in Mumbai across 53 countries between 8pm-10pm (Indian time) while the competition will be streamed online via bravefights.com.

This, the fifth edition of Brave Combat Federation and the Brave 5 Fight card, will feature competitors from 11 nations including Algeria, Bahrain, Brazil, Canada, Egypt, India, Mexico, Philippines, Thailand, Saudi Arabia and the UK.

Algeria’s Tahar Hadbi and England’s Carl Booth will compete, along with Indo-Canadian Gurdarshan ‘Saint Lion’ Mangat and Abdul ‘Cutman’ Muneer.

Indian competitors in the MMA event include Mohammed Farhad, Goa’s Nelson Paes, IMMAF World Championship medallist Hardeep Rai, Bharat Khandare and Chaitanya Gavali.

Brave 5 will begin on 22 April with the weigh-ins and open workouts, to be held at Mumbai’s R-City Mall.
