The US Hispanic media group Univision has launched a podcast and live streaming platform to extend the reach of its radio stations.

uforia audio univisionThe on-demand platform, Uforia Audio On-Demand, delivers a suite of programming spanning news and politics to sports, music, comedy and more. The podcast and live stream formats leverage the expertise of Univision’s favourite radio and television personalities as well as its growing digital talent.

With tech-savvy Hispanics in the US significantly over-indexing as owners or intenders in categories like smartphones and streaming, Uforia Audio On-Demand aims to serve as an innovative on-demand audio platform tailored to the needs of its audience.

“Uforia Audio On-Demand harnesses the power and scale of our radio and digital properties to enhance our consumers’ experience and further expand our content’s reach,” said Sameer Deen, senior VP, Univision Digital. “The platform puts more of the content our audience loves at their fingertips, offering on-demand streaming whenever and wherever they want across multiple platforms.”

Univision’s podcasts available on the Web-based, responsive platform include both local and nationwide shows including Epicentro, En Boca de León, El Show de Alberto Sardiñas, El Poder de Tu Historia, Coquenetas Positivas and A Bordo Podcast.
