With the NAB show, and the event itself, only weeks away, Elemental Technologies has revealed that it has attracted 16 sponsors for its 4K 4Charity Fun Run.

4K4Charity NAB 2017 Image4Featuring a 4km run and walk through Sunset Park in Las Vegas, the event will be held on 25 April, and will raise proceeds for Mercy Corps, which works with the most vulnerable women and adolescents in crises. It will also contribute to Women Who Code, a global non-profit organisation dedicated to inspiring women to pursue and excel in technology careers. Since launching in 2014, the 4K 4Charity Fun Run Series has attracted nearly 4,000 participants and raised close to $400,000 for non-profit organisations.

The current list of sponsors marks a 100% increase from the 2016 event and now includes several major media brands. Sponsors across the media, entertainment and technology industries now include HBO, Comcast Technology Solutions, The Weather Company, Aspera, Nokia OZO, Verimatrix, Dolby Laboratories, Accedo, Brightcove, BroadStream Solutions, Irdeto, Vizrt, ChyronHego, SVG, Tektronix and Wazee Digital. Rapid TV News is a media partner for the event.
