Plazamedia is to introduce a suite of services from Comcast Technology Solutions as part of its plans to expand its digital media portfolio.

Working with Comcast, it says that the collaboration delivers no less than ‘effortless’ management of premium video content from ingest to management through to playout and monetisation of the content. The modular solution can be individually and adjusted to the different needs of clients at any time.

With the Comcast technology integrated with its own offering, Plazamedia says it will now look to support the OTT supply chain and advanced OTT workflows sought by key broadcasters and content owners in the DACH region. “For us the collaboration means an excellent expansion of our digital media portfolio,” explained managing director of digital products Robin Seckler. “In times of increasingly IP-based productions, Comcast Technology Solutions capabilities unify the broadcast and OTT workflows.
