The number of subscribers to South Korea’s IPTV services has reached 14 million, following the introduction of Ultra HD content, according to Yonhap News Agency.
Flag of South Korea.svgThe country's three fixed-line operators – KT Corp, SK Broadband Co and LG Uplus Corp – had more than 14.1 million users in January, compared with 13.9 million in December 2016, official sources told the agency.

The one million mark was passed in October 2009, just nine months after IPTV services were commercially launched in South Korea, and had attracted ten million subscribers by 2014.

Cable TV subscriptions in the Asian country numbered 14.5 million as of December 2016.
